Demba Ba to PSG, Tottenham? Saloman Kalou to Arsenal? Gary Cahill to Manchester United? Today's Biggest Transfer News

Players like Chris Samba and Demba Ba have been probably the most rumored players over the last few days. Here is today's latest on some of the biggest rumors.

Bolton CB Gary Cahill
Cahill has still been unable to fianlize his move to Chelsea which has to frustrate the blues fans. However, Manchester United is plotting a late bid to try to steal Gary Cahill from Chelsea. This will put some pressure on Andre Villas-Boas to get this deal done because losing him to Manchester United would anger many Chelsea fans as Cahill is seen as the next John Terry. Cahill would give Manchester United another great, young centerback with lots of potential. Cahill may see this as good news as Chelsea may give in to his wage demands to finally sign him. I think Cahill to Chelsea will be finished soon but Manchester United has made this a lot more interesting.

Chelsea FW Saloman Kalou
Saloman Kalou has been linked with an 3 million euro move to the Emirates. Chelsea and Arsenal did work out the Yossi Benayoun loan deal in August but 3 million euros is probably not close enough to what Arsenal needs to pay to get him. Kalou still has a lot of potential and could be a good player at Arsenal. He would also allow them to sell Andre Arshavin somewhere. Kalou would be a very creative player on the wing for Arsenal and another attacking threat.

Newcastle ST Demba Ba
Reports have suggested that Demba Ba has some interest from Paris Saint-Germain and that he would be intrigued by the possibility to join the Ligue 1 leaders. Tottenham might also have some interest along with Arsenal, Liverpool, and PSG. Harry Redknapp said that the release clause for Ba is less than 7 million euros. Newcastle desperately needs to give Ba a new contract or truly risk losing another number nine. Ba would probably take the starting job at striker at PSG from Kevin Gameiro if Ba went to PSG.

Deals that are finished or almost finished
New York Red Bulls CB Tim Ream to Bolton for 2 to 3 million euros
Reports have emerged that Ream is close to sealing a move across the pond to Bolton. The US international is a very good pickup for Owen Coyle as he should be a suitable replacement for the outgoing Gary Cahil. Ream is still a fairly young player with lots of potential and could be a great fit for Owen Coyle's side.
This will be updated all day.
