De Jong to Juventus? Today's Biggest Transfer News

Only 8 days remain now in the January transfer window as it is really starting to heat up with moves that are close completion. Here is today's biggest news as the window is starting to get busy with deals.

Birmingham LM Jean Beausejour
Beausejour is reportedly closing in on a deal that would give him a return to the Premier League with Roberto Martinez's Wigan Athletic. Wigan has agreed to a 4 million euro deal to sign the Chilean international from Birmingham to bring him back to the Premier League. Wigan is looking to make this the first of multiple deals in the next week as they are also trying to sign Bristol City striker Nicky Maynard but they are unlikely to sign him with West Brom and Wolverhampton right on the tail of Maynard. Beausejour is a very good winger that knows how to create opportunities. Signing Beausejour shows that Roberto Martinez will do everything he can to keep the DW Stadium side in the Premier League. Beausejour will be able to make a big difference as the Latics try to survive.

Manchester City CB Nedum Onouha
Onouha is still negotiating with QPR manager Mark Hughes and owner Tony Fernandes as they are looking to come to an agreement on a contract. However, Everton manager David Moyes is looking to come in and take Onouha from the hands of QPR and bring him to Goodison Park. Everton seems to have some cash and may get a little more money to spend if they complete the deal to sell outcast Diniyar Bilyaletdinov to Spartak Moscow for around 7 million euros. This would give them the money they need to sign Onouha as a fee would only have to be around 3 million euros. Signing Onouha could be a sign that Phil Jaigelka could leave Goodison Park in the summer for Arsenal or Tottenham possibly. However, Everton is probably to late as Onouha is very close to a deal so he will probably be playing at Loftus Road this weekend. Onouha can help keep QPR from being relegated this season and this deal will definitely get done.

Manchester City CM Nigel De Jong
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has turned down two bids from Juventus and Galatasary for Dutch midfielder Nigel De Jong. De Jong has not been able to get that much playing time this year as the signing of Samir Nasri has put De Jong farther down the depth chart so now he is looking for a move so he can play. De Jong is a very good player and will look to find somewhere he can get playing time so he can get into top form before this summer's Euro 2012. De Jong is a very talented player and he knows that now is the time to leave the Ethiad and Juventus would be a great landing spot for him with the success they are having in Serie A. Juventus manager Antonio Conte wants De Jong to sure up the midfield as they have a shot at going through the Serie A season without a single loss. De Jong will see a move away fro Manchester as an interesting option but for right now, he will still be playing at the Ethiad.
