Drogba to QPR? Today's Biggest Transfer News

QPR just recently announced that Mark Hughes was the manager and he has been given plenty of money to spend which make them a player on the market. Here the latest on all the big rumors as this will be updated all day.

Chelsea ST Didier Drogba
Didier Drogba has reported interest from Queens Park Rangers. New QPR manager Mark Hughes would love to make a big splash and this would be just that. Drogba would be a major upgrade at striker for Rangers. Drogba has drawn interest from teams in China but he has already truned down those teams. Drogba could help carry QPR out of any threat of relegation as his impact on the game is huge. Drogba also has the creativity to set up other players like Shaun Wright-Phillips. This would be the perfect first signing for Mark Hughes as he could really make a big stamp on his way he wants this club.

Blackburn CB Christopher Samba
Samba is one of the major targets for new QPR manager Mark Hughes who has a transfer budget of around 30 million euros. QPR is reportedly going to offer Blackburn 8 million euros for the signature of Samba. The Blackburn captain would be an excellent signing for new manager Mark Hughes as he would really strengthen the QPR backline. QPR owner Tony Fernandes is giving Mark Hughes all the resources he needs to to get QPR out of relegation trounle. This will now put some pressure on Tottenham manager Hary Redknapp which may force him to bid around 8 million euros. Redkanpp will have to decide how much he really wants to sign Chris Samba and because Tottenham knows that if they match QPR's bid, Samba will most likely go to Tottenham.

Manchester City CB Nedum Onuoha and LB Wayne Bridge
New QPR boss Mark Hughes is reportedly interested in signing Manchester City teammates Nedum Onuoha and Wayne Bridge. These players have worked with Mark Hughes before when Hughes was the manager at Manchester City. Hughes will probably only have to offer 4 to 5 million euros to sign the pair from Manchester City. However, neither of these players may be Hughes' first options as Hughes is looking to sign Blackburn's Chris Samba and Chelsea's Alex. Mark Hughes is already being very agressive to try to improve the Loftus Road side as quickly as possible so they can get a mid-table finish as these players might be able to help him do that.

Liverpool ST Andy Carroll
Reports have emerged today that Newcastle is going to launch a 15 million euro bid to bring Andy Carroll back to Sports Direct Arena. Liverpool's evaluation of Carroll is rumored to be at 25 million euros and his current vale to the Anfield side is huge because of the suspension to Luis Suarez. However, Alan Pardew may be willing to put up the 25 million euros that it will probably take to bring back Carroll as he could make a very dangerous pair up top with Demba Ba. Carroll may see a move back to Newcastle as a way to turn around his career as he has not played well since moving to Liverpool. The Carroll to Newcastle rumor will probably not fade away any time before the first of February.

Blackburn FW Junior Hoilett
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is reportedly preparing a bid for Blackburn's young Canadian star winger Junior Hoilett. Newcastle joins a list of clubs that includes Tottenham and Stoke City that are looking to win the winger's signature. Hoilett would probably be an immediate starter on the wings for Alan Pardew's side. Hoilett could also fill in up top for Demba Ba while Ba is playing at the African Championships. Hoilett has a lot of potential and Newcastle will see him as a player that can help make them a threat for a spot in Europe and Hoilett can also help the Tyneside club get back to the form they had at the beginning of the season. Hoilett will probably cost around 8 million euros since he is out of contract in the summer and Blackburn is trying to get whatever they can for him to avoid losing him for free.
