Really. Manny Ramirez is actually drwing interest.

Steroids and performance-enhancing drugs have tarnished the image of baseball over the last two decades as names like Mark McGwire, Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Roger Clemens, Alex Rodriguez, and many others including the twice suspended Manny Ramirez. Of course, Ramirez was suspended for 100 games after he was caught taking performance-enhancing drugs again which had to disappoint the Tampa Bay Rays. Then, Ramirez decided to retire to prove that he could not play without performance-enhancing drugs. Recently, reports have come out and said that Ramirez used cork bats while he was with the Cleveland Indians earl in his career. This has proven that Manny is only good when he is using performance-enhancing drugs or cork bats and that he is one of the biggest cheaters in sports history. Manny Ramirez should never be able to go into the Hall of Fame because of his cheating and he should never be allowed to return to MLB because of his repeated offenses. One year later though, Ramirez has already been successful in getting Major League Baseball's terrible commisioner Bud Selig to cut the suspension of Ramirez from 100 games to 50 games as they said that because Ramirez sat out last year, he only needed to serve part of the originaal 100 gam suspension. Now, this huge cheater is ready to make a return to tarnish the repoutation of the national pastime once again as teams are somehow interested in actually signing the act that is Manny Ramirez. Those teams that have decided that to make the biggest mistake they may have ever made are the Oakland Athletics, the Baltimore Orioles, and the Toronto Blue Jays. Ramirez would definitely be a DH as there are definitely tons of better options that would be high character guys, team-oriented, and not selfish like the way in which Manny showboats and shows indifference about how well his team does throughout the season. I would never want Ramirez to even be a part of a team even if it was like a single-A team as he is truly a terrible role model for young players on a Major or Minor League team. Of course, Manny won't be in the Minors which is where his talent level was the last time he did not use PEDs back with the White Sox. I would take other DH options like Raul Ibanez, Johnny Damon, Vladimir Guerrero, Hideki Matsui, Derrek Lee, Magglio Ordonez; who is still recovering from a fractured right ankle, and even Brad Hawpe or Conor Jackson at DH before I would take Ramirez. Ramirez is a guy who is a trouble maker that will only put up 7 to 10 home runs and 30 to 40 RBIs next season and that probably if he has a really good year for his talent level with his season shorten by 50 game due to his suspension that should still be 100 games. Ramirez will probably get 2 or 3 million dollars at least on a one-year deal which definitely does not make sense to me. Of the three suitors for Ramirez, Toronto makes the least sense to sign Ramirez as they already have a good DH in Edwin Encarnacion, though any team signing Ramirez doesn't make sense to me. The Orioles don't make sense to me as a possible destination because Ramirez could cause some Oriole player to have a bad role model which would cause major problems for the Orioles and potentially even GM Dan Duquette's job in a few years. The Orioles signed Wilson Betemit so they can put Betemit or incumbant third baseman Mark Reynolds at the hot corner and make the other the DH. I think the Oakland Athletics will make the stupid decision of signing Manny as they want a noteworthy name like Manny on their roster to improve ticket sales and excite the fans after they have traded Gio Gonzalez, Trevor Cahill, and Andrew Bailey. Oakland also is not interested in having Jonny Gomes be the DH and want Manny to be the designated hitter which makes abosolutely no sense to me as Jonny Gomes would be a much better DH than Manny. Manny would also not be that expensive so he would fit into the tight budget out in Oakland. This will be the biggest mistake of the offseason as Manny will be a terrible role model for the Athletics. Unfourtunately, baseball fans now have to put up withone of the most selfish cheater in baseball history in Manny Ramirez.
