Where will London Fletcher end up?

London Fletcher has been one of the linebackers in the NFL over the last decade as he has had over 110 tackles in every season since 2000. Fletcher has been one of the most dominant linebackers in football and he still has a couple more good years left in him. Fletcher is also a great defensive leader and it is a surprise that he is still available on the free agent market. Fletcher could help a lot of teams but there are only a few realistic options.

Washington Redskins
Fletcher has been the leader of the Redskins defense since he came to DC back in 2007. The Redskins do not have an immediate replacement for Fletcher if they do not bring him back so Fletcher is still likely. If the Redskins bring back Fletcher, this team could be a sleeper to win the NFC East as RG3 could be dangerous with a speedy receiver like Pierre Garcon. The Redskins have enough money to bring back Fletcher and the Redskins need Fletcher more than Fletcher needs the Redskins. A two-year deal would definitely not surprise me.

Kansas City Chiefs
I have had the Chiefs taking Boston College inside linebacker Luke Kuechly in the first round but the Chiefs could go get Fletcher instead so they can fill another need like offensive guard (Stanford's David DeCastro). Fletcher would immediately be able to be the leader of the defense for the Chiefs who are looking to win a wide open AFC West. Fletcher would also be an excellent upgrade at inside linebacker as he could form one of the best linebacking corps in the NFL along with Tamba Hali, Derrick Johnson, and Justin Houston. If the Chiefs make this signing, they could immediately be the favorite ahead of the Denver Broncos in the AFC West.

Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles still need to upgrade their linebacking corps despite the fact that they went and traded for the Texans' DeMeco Ryans and Fletcher would give the Eagles a really good linebacking corps. The biggest thing that Fletcher would bring to the Eagles is a true leader which was part the reason why Philly's defense was not as good as expected last year. Fletcher and Ryans could be a really dangerous duo of linebackers along with either Akeem Jordan or Moises Fokou. The Eagles would finally have the piece that could make them serious Super Bowl contenders if they pair up Ryans with Fletcher as that would put this team on the same level as the Packers, 49ers, and Saints in the NFC.

Tennessee Titans
The Titans have had some great middle linebackers before including Keith Bullock but the Titans are lacking that right now. However, Fletcher could be the perfect fit as the main middle linebacker as this move could put the Titans in position to make the playoffs next season. Fletcher would be a dominant force on that defense and make the Titans a serious threat to the Texans in the AFC South. The Titans are the sleeper for Fletcher but they could definitely step in and sign him.
