Matt Barkley

Matt Barkley has proven this past season that he is one of the best quarterbacks in all of college football. Barkley won't have one more game this season due to USC being in the last year of a bowl ban. At 4PM this afternoon, Matt Barkley will announce his decision on whether he will stay at USC for his senoir year or leave for the NFL. Barkley has reasons to choose to stay and go. Barkley will have to consider the fact that USC is going to be a contender for a national title next season if he returns. Barkley also has the chance to be a starter for all four years on campus. Barkley could definately win the Heisman next year if he returns to USC. The money that Barkley could get is not as much as it used to be but getting at least ten million dollars is hard to turn down. However, Barkley has the potential to be the first pick in the 2013 NFL Draft if he returns. Barkley might be able to start in his rookie season in the NFL if he decides to enter this year's NFL Draft. Barkley could also see going to the NFL as a new challenge for him. Matt Barkley has the potential to be better than past USC quarterbacks like Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, and Mark Sanchez. I think Matt Barkley has a tough decision because both options are good ones. However, Barkley will return because the chance to win a national title at USC is too hard to pass up.
