Given the expected (?) squad turnover this summer it might be worthwhile to see how the younger players are getting on and a few of them turned out for England U-19 against Slovenia the other day. Highlights are on youtube:

Sam Johnstone was in goal and Tom Thorpe and Will Keane both scored. Michael Keane was also in the side.
At the moment, Nick Powell of Crewe Alexandra, one of our supposed summer recruits, is in action in the League 2 play-off final and he's scored for Crewe who lead 2-0 late on and seem likely to be promoted.
His goal is on youtube at the moment, but may possibly have been taken down by the time you click the link... Nice strike.

We may find out more about his future once this game is over (signing then loan back?) since it may mean Crewe will be playing at a higher level next year.
