Matt Kenseth leaves Rosuh-Fenway Racing

It seemed like Matt Kenseth would retire at Roush-Fenway Racing but it was announced today that Kenseth would leave Roush and be replaced in the 17 by 2011 Nationwide Series Champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Stenhouse will be a good Cup Series driver but it is definitely a surprise to see Kenseth out at Roush especially since he is the points leader on the Cup series. Kenseth has had some sponsorship issues and Kenseth's salary would had been way more than the up-and-coming Stenhouse. However, Kenseth might have a deal already in place as he will be in a top quality ride next season. Kenseth will not end up at another Ford team most likely as Ford said they were sad to lose Kenseth from a Ford team which means he will not be headed for Penske or Richard Petty Motorsports. Kenseth is likely to end up at Joe Gibbs Racing as they have thought about expanding to four teams and Kenseth could also replace Joey Logano as Home Depot may want an upgrade in the 20 car. This could move Joey Logano to a fourth car sponsored by possibly Dollar General and GameStop. If Kenseth does not end up at Gibbs, he could end up at Michael Waltrip Racing as they have thought about expanding to four teams with Kenseth possibly being a third full time driver. Kenseth could definitely look at going to Waltrip as their two full time drivers (Clint Bowyer and Martin Truex Jr) are in the top 10 in points. Logano could also end up at Waltrip if Kenseth replaces him at Gibbs as Toyota would love to keep one of the Cup Series's biggest up-and-comers. Matt Kenseth will be in a quality ride as the first domino has fallen in the 2012 NASCAR silly season.

Auto Racing Sunday

Every year, the Sunday on Memorial Day weekend is auto racing's greatest stage as it goes from the Grand Prix of Monaco to the Indianapolis 500 to the Coca-Cola 600. So, who will win these races Sunday.

Monaco
Mark Webber will start on pole as he is the favorite due how hard it is to pass on the street course. Nico Rosberg is the sleeper for Sunday morning as Rosberg is having a career year. However, Mark Webber's teammate Sebastian Vettel will win as his dominance in Formula One will continue.

Indy 500
The Chevrolet engines have dominated the other manufactuers and despite the good performance on Carb Day from the Ganassi cars, Scott Dixon and company will not win. This race will come down to three drivers: Will Power, Helio Castroneves, and Marco Andretti. Helio is a past champion but he won't return to victory lane this year. The headline of Marco Andretti winning the Indy 500 will be huge but Will Power has been great this year in IndyCar and will win his first Indy 500.

Coca-Cola 600
The 600 will cap off this big Sunday of auto racing as NASCAR will take center stage on primetime Sunday night. Aussie Marcos Ambrose is a sleeper Sunday as he could sneak up and grab his second career win and first win on an oval but this won't be it. Dale Earnhardt Jr will look to end his winless drought after being so close last year but that winless streak will continue for another race. Sense Racing will look to win the 600 yo add it on top of the 500 but AJ Allmendinger and Brad Keselowski will not pull it off. This year's winner will be Jimmie Johnson as he has been one of.the best practice and will pull off the win to give Johnson back to back in to of NASCAR's biggest races: the Southern 500, and the Coca-Cola 600.
